In this role, you will help strengthen planning, forecasting, performance management and management information across Finance and help decision-makers act with confidence.

As part of Finance, Financial Planning & Analytics, you will contribute to the further development of modern FP&A at Cembra. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will work with financial and non-financial data, planning models, management reports and analytical applications. You will help convert complex data into clear, reliable and decision-relevant insights. You will also contribute to improving data models, ETL processes and the usability of analytical solutions, while collaborating with stakeholders across Finance, business functions and Technology.

What exactly you will do here:

  • Deliver clear, decision-oriented analysis of financial and non-financial performance, including variances, trends, risks and opportunities
  • Translate management questions into relevant KPIs, reports, dashboards and practical recommendations
  • Support month-end and year-end processes with accurate, timely and decision-relevant financial analysis
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, and maintain robust planning models and scenarios
  • Challenge assumptions constructively and assess the financial implications of business choices
  • Design and enhance reporting, planning applications, financial data models and data-transformation processes
  • Simplify, standardise and automate reporting and planning processes, partnering with Finance, business functions and Technology
  • Support colleagues in using management information and analytical tools effectively, and contribute to cross-functional analyses and projects.

 What we're looking for:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
  • At least five years of relevant experience in management accounting, financial reporting, planning or FP&A
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, including US GAAP or IFRS
  • Hands-on experience with BI and analytics tools such as Qlik Sense or Power BI, including data modelling and ETL processes
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot; experience with ERP and general ledger systems is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
  • Clear communication and presentation skills in English; German is an advantage
  • Proactive, independent and improvement-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

If you are an experienced FP&A professional who wants to turn data into insight, improve how Finance supports decisions and help shape modern FP&A at Cembra, we would like to hear from you. You don't fulfil all the requirements 100%? Apply anyway!

This is what you'll get:

A role with visible impact on business performance and management decision-making. The opportunity to combine finance, analytics and technology beyond traditional reporting.  Meaningful ownership of analytical solutions and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with stakeholders across the wider business. A working environment that values curiosity, constructive challenge, reliable execution and continuous learning. The opportunity to help shape the further development of Cembra, Finance and modern FP&A.

  • 🥳 After work: We can really let it rip sometimes. Our summer barbecues and Christmas parties are legendary. We really have a lot of fun here. But we don’t mistake it for “laissez-faire”. On the contrary: Enjoying what we do is what drives us to perform at our best.
